Training Administrator

Being a Training Administrator makes you a valuable member of the FLETC team and mission. This position is within the Training Content and Development Branch (TCDB), E-Learning and Innovation Division (ELD), under the Training Management Operations Directorate (TMO), and located in Glynco, Georgia. You will be responsible for providing support to TCDB in the administration of online training delivery and implementation initiatives. Typical assignments include:
Participating in the planning and execution of eFLETC training programs and systems. Formulating appropriate operating plans, in conjunction with the appropriate, Instructional Systems Specialists, Project Managers, LMS Administrators, Instructors and Senior Instructor(s), coordinating, and implementing the long and short-range plans and program procedures to ensure that the training programs are developed, managed, and administered in eFLETC. Coordinating with other Directorates, Branches and Divisions to coordinate support activities. Assisting the Learning Management Systems (LMS) Administrators, Instructional System Specialists, Project Managers, Law Enforcement Program Administrators, Law Enforcement Training Advisors, Law Enforcement Program Specialist, and Law Enforcement Instructors. Articulating and communicating assignment status, projects, problems to be solved, actionable events, milestones, program issues, and deadlines/timeframes for completion. Assisting in ensuring the learning ecosystem is managed and supported. Maintaining training program documents including, but not limited to project files, Standard Operating Procedures, configuration documents, diagrams and other relevant background documents, etc. The qualification requirements listed below must be met by the closing date of this announcement. You must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the federal service, coordinating the design, development and implementation of computer-based training and support systems for law enforcement training. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps and AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. The Office of Personnel Management must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees. If you are currently, or have been within the last 5 years, a political Schedule A, Schedule C, Non-career SES or Presidential Appointee employee in the Executive Branch, you must disclose this information to the Human Resources Office.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
