This Supervisory Management Program Analyst position is located in the Training Centers Division (TCD) Training Academy in Glynco, Ga, Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Major Duties include but are not limited to:
Directing, supervising, and scheduling activities for a staff of professionals; planning reviewing, controlling resources; and approving all work assignments and resulting work products. Providing guidance, recommendations and leadership to ensure all agency training initiatives meet established delivery schedules to support current, new and emerging transportation security policies, directives, procedures and provide recommendations on integration of new information and scenarios into training materials. Collaborating with headquarters' and field course sponsors, program managers, instructional systems design specialists, and other stakeholder to plan, organize and oversee delivery of training curricula that fully support agency initiatives, goals, and performance objectives in support of training. Providing oversight of training initiatives delivered to ensure mission-critical training is prepared, provided, recorded, evaluated, and revised to meet established schedules for instructor-led, online/web-based, and blended learning programs; ensuring adequate resources (funding, Instructor staff, cadre personnel, training materials, etc.) are available to implement academy training initiatives. This position is also being announced through Government Wide procedures under Announcement #HQ-ES-TD-20-736181-G. To qualify for the SV-J Pay Band (equivalent to GS-14), you must have one year of specialized experience at the SV-I or GS-13 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector. Specialized experience is defined as experience that has equipped you with the knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience is defined as:
Experience providing advice, guidance, direction, and recommendations to a training academy's leadership and stakeholders on a variety of complex and time critical training related programs; and) Performing as a technical resource for adult learning principles, procedures, practices, and analytical techniques in order to plan, organize and oversee national level training programs; and) Managing training programs and establishing goals to ensure a training academy's objectives are met. Note:
Credit for experience is given based on a 40-hour workweek. Part-time experience is credited on a part-time ratio, i.e., working 20 hours per week for two months equals one month of experience. No additional credit is given for overtime. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience):

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
