Park Ranger (P)-Deputy Program Manager

In order to be qualified at the GS-11 level, you must possess one of the following:
A. Oe year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service that involves completing a variety of written products (e.g. reports, tracking sheets, etc.) to document law enforcement activities or law enforcement related program progress; updating or modifying lesson plans or curriculum for law enforcement specific training; and developing standards or procedures for program operations at a local level. - OR - B. Three years of higher level graduate education leading to a PhD in natural resource management, natural sciences, earth sciences, history, archeology, anthropology, park and recreation management, law enforcement/police science, social sciences, museum sciences, business administration, public administration, behavioral sciences, sociology, or other closely related subjects pertinent to the management and protection of natural and cultural resources. - OR - C. A combination of specialized experience, as described in A, and graduate level education, as described in B, that, when combined, equals 100% of the total requirement. (Please note:
only education in excess of the first two years may be used in this calculation.) To be qualified at the GS-12 level, you must possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service that involves preparing a variety of written documents (e.g. guidelines, plans, standards, etc.) to support a law enforcement project or program; developing lesson plans and curriculum for law enforcement specific training; assisting in the development of standards and procedures for program operations which will be applied organization-wide; and providing technical guidance to others on law enforcement operations or policies. In addition, all applicants must:
Possess substantial documented experience in a primary law enforcement position in the Federal government, or equivalent documented experience outside the Federal government - AND - Currently hold, or have held within the past 3 years, a full Type I NPS law enforcement commission, or be qualified to receive a Type I Commission upon appointment based upon having completed approved NPS training as outlined by policy including Natural Resource Police Training (NRPT), Land Management Police Training Program (LMPT), US Park Police Integrated (USPPI) You must include months, years and hours per week worked to receive credit for your work and/or volunteer experience. One year of specialized experience is equivalent to 12 months at 40 hours per week. Part-time hours are prorated. You will not receive any credit for experience that does not indicate exact hours per week or is listed as varies.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
