Plant Finance Analyst
Industrial Insulation Group, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Johns Manville (A Berkshire Hathaway company) is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Financial Analyst to be located in Brunswick, Georgia. This person will be a high potential, high impact member of the management team within a continuous improvement environment.
Responsibilities:
Ensure financial controls and routines are followed in the facility
Complete the monthly closing process to accurately reflect business performance
Complete necessary financial and management reporting requirements to communicate results, identify key issues, and drive continuous improvement
Complete monthly forecasts to accurately reflect business direction
Complete monthly variance analysis to understand key cost drivers in plant and drive improvements with support of a cross-functional team
Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly
Develop and maintain standard costs for the plant
Development and preparation of the annual budget
Capital asset accounting and financial analysis
Assist with SAP implementation
Other duties as assigned
Minimum
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance
3-5 year's finance experience
1 year cost accounting experience
Experience with financial closing cycles
General ledger experience
Ability to prepare and analyze budget and cost data, determine trends and apply corrective solutions to achieve desired financial goals
Proven analytical skills
Strong decision-making and problem resolution skills
Solid organizational skills with capability of managing multiple tasks
Proven leadership skills, self-motivated team player
Solid interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Prior experience with SAP or other ERP systems
Computer proficiency (Intermediate to Advanced Excel User)
Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma or similar continuous process improvement methodology; certification or formal training a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
