Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelors degree in aviation maintenance or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. A&P; license preferred.Eight (8) years aviation experience to include four (4) years of product line in-service maintenance experience (Gulfstream, Falcon, Challenger, Hawker, etc.). Five (5) years of supervisory experience.
Position Purpose:
Manages and is responsible for all aspects of a Service Center visit including project management, manpower planning and customer interface.
Principal Duties and
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions: 1. Upon aircraft arrival, manage all service projects and assign work through team leads. 2. Supervise a continuous safety/security program, which includes operation of support equipment, aircraft systems, 5S, general housekeeping and lean manufacturing principles. Ensure that regular established safety/security audits are conducted and discrepancies are addressed. 3. Manage subordinate personnel; establish employee development and training plans; communicate performance expectations; conduct performance appraisals and make other personnel decisions as required. 4. Pre-plan, develop and maintain schedule through aircraft delivery and follow-up. 5. Manage workflow to ensure that customer outdates are met. Facilitate status meetings with all departments and shops; update daily reports on status of aircraft and report to Operations Manager. 6. Manage efforts of Engineering, Avionics, Inspection, Electrical, Product Support and Materials to meet aircraft schedule. 7. Ensure that work is performed in accordance with Site Inspection Procedures Manual, Site Operating Procedures and FARs. 8. Effectively work with customers to resolve any issues that may arise during their maintenance visit. 9. Ensure that aircraft are completed within customers requirements and FAA regulations. 10. Responsible for meeting or exceeding Service Center financial objectives on all projects.
Additional Functions: 1. Perform other duties as required.
Other Requirements: 1. An A&P; license and four (4) years of related aircraft experience in addition to the eight (8) years required experience may offset the Bachelors degree. 2. Must be computer literate; proficiency in MS Word and Excel required; proficiency in MS Project preferred. 3. Must have excellent verbal, written and communication skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
