9K a year 22 hours ago 22 hours ago 22 hours ago Job Summary This position provides general support for the company's internal slide filing system by maintaining and organizing all anatomical and cytological slides.
Major Responsibilities Daily pickup of incoming slides in the accessioning department Slide pickup from pathologists' offices 3 times daily File all abnormal pap smears read internally (approximately 150/week) File all non-GYN slides that are read internally (approximately 119 - 159/week) File all anatomical related slides (H&E, IHC, SS) processed at Indigo (approximately 8,500+/week) Monitor the slide filing cabinets and communicate with supervisor when space becomes limited Assist with slide selection and offsite relocation to make available storage space onsite Pull Tumor Board slides to send to offsite locations Communicate with the pathologists and assist in locating and pulling cases for their review Ensure all paperwork returned with slides is forwarded to the billing department Pull and tag all over read slides to be reviewed, pickup when required, and refile Monitor emails daily for information or cases to locate Monitor slides that exceed CAP retention dates and dispose of as needed Other duties as assigned Requirements:
High school diploma or GED 6
months of file clerk experience Ability to lift 10 pounds continuously throughout 8 hour shift Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently Prioritize a wide range of requests Basic computer knowledge Ability to multitask Medical background preferred.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
